21 6 Press Number of Copies repea tedly un til the number (any number 1-99) of copies you want to make appears. Note: Y ou can a lso use the r ight and left arrows to move throug h the numbe r list. 7 Press Color Copy to create a color cop y of your document or pr ess Black Copy to create a black and w hite copy of your docum ent.

38 Maintenanc e Replacing the print car tridges The Lexmar k X5100 Seri es uses the following car t ridg es: Note: For inf or mati on abo ut order ing s upplies, se e page 45. 1 Make sure the All-In -One is on . 2 Lift the scanner un it unti l the sc anner suppo r t keeps it open.
39 3 Squeeze the ta bs on the car t ridg e lids, and th en lif t the lids. 4 Remov e the o ld ca r tr idges. Stor e them in an air- tight conta iner or dispose of them . 5 If you are instal ling new ca r tr idges, remove the foam, stickers , and transparent ta pe from th e bottom of the car tr idges.
40 6 Inser t t he new car trid ges, and then snap the li ds closed . 7 Lift the scanner unit and push t he scann er suppo r t ba ck while lowering the sca nner unit until it is co mpletely closed .
41 8 Load paper into the p aper su ppor t. 9 Questio ns appear on the di splay . Use the buttons on th e operator panel t o answ er t he questio ns: a If the col or car trid ge you installed is New (nev er been u sed), press Select . If it is o ld, pres s the r ight ar row button once, and then press Select.
