13 4. Slide the top panel in place with the detailed side down. Make sure panel is positioned all way back and resting on side panels. T op panel should be flush in front with the side panels. See Figure 18 . 3. Position and slide the side panels against the rear panel.

15 NOTE: DIAGRAMS AND ILLUSTRA TIONS ARE NOT TO SCALE 2. Separate the glowing embers (F) into quarter size pieces and place along ports on burner pan. DO NOT cover burner secondar y holes on burner pan. The pattern for the glowing embers should be similar to what is shown in Figure 22 .

21 NOTE: DIAGRAMS AND ILLUSTRA TIONS ARE NOT TO SCALE Blower Operation Y our Shoreline gas insert comes equipped with a 150 CFM blower with a variable speed control and an automatic temperature activated On/Off snap switch. 1. Plug the blower power cord into a grounded (three-prong) outlet.
22 NOTE: DIAGRAMS AND ILLUSTRA TIONS ARE NOT TO SCALE Shoreline™ Main Burner Operation Y our Shoreline fireplace insert comes with an “ON/OFF” rocker switch used to turn the burner on and off while the pilot is on. The rocker switch is located in the control panel above the blower rheostat switch and to the left of the igniter .

Annual inspection should be made and the following checks performed: p When unit is cool, remove glass and inspect burner for dirt, soot, and lint accumulations, and remove if necessary .
24 NOTE: DIAGRAMS AND ILLUSTRA TIONS ARE NOT TO SCALE Do not remove the glass door while the insert is hot. T o remove the glass door , pull for ward and up on the top latches. Lift the glass door up and off the lower spring latch. Be careful not to damage or scratch the glass while handling.
