- 12 - Names and functions of the main components T ouch operations This camera’s monitor surface senses pressure that is applied to it. T ouch T o “touch” is to press the monitor ’s surface and then pull the finger back again. Drag T o “drag” is to touch and slide your finger across the monitor ’ s surface.
- 13 - Charging the battery • Always use the dedicated charger , USB connection cable, and battery for this camera. Always charge before first use! (the battery is shipped uncharged) • The battery is charged while it is in the camera.

- 19 - Inserting and removing the memory card ● Keep the Memory Card out of reach of children to prevent swallowing. ● T o remove the card, turn the camera off and wait until the LEICA indicator on the monitor goes off. (Failure to wait may cause the camera to malfunction and may damage the card or recorded data.
