xSenso User Guide 40 6: Using DeviceInstaller This chapter covers the steps for locating a xS enso unit and viewing its pr operties and device details. DeviceInstaller is a free utility program provided by Lantron ix that discovers, configures, upgrades and mana ges Lantronix Device Ser vers.
6: Using DeviceInstaller xSenso User Guide 41 Group Configurable field. Enter a gr oup to cat egori ze the xSenso. Double-click the field, type in the value, and press Enter to compl ete. This group name is local to this PC and is not visible on other PCs or laptops using DeviceInstaller.
xSenso User Guide 42 7: Configuration Using W eb Manager This chapter describes how to configure xSenso using Web Manager, th e Lantronix browser- based configuration tool. The unit’s configuration is stored in nonv olatile memory and is retained without power.

xSenso User Guide 50 8: Network Settings The Network Settings show the status of the Et hernet interface/lin k and let yo u configure the settings on the device. Interface settings are rela ted to the conf igu ration of the IP and related protocols . Link set tin gs ar e re lat ed to the ph ysic al link connection, which carries the IP traffic.
