Power O N & OF F About the Machine 1 - 1 Power ON & OFF Keep the ""Power Switch "" in the (ON) position to maintain constant communication. If it is in the (OFF) p osition, the machine is able n either to receiv e a docum ent nor store th e contents of the doc ument in its memory .

Functio n Utilities Function Utilities 5 - 1 Function Utilities The Function utilities make y our machine mor e convenient to use. The following eight functions are available. Broadcast 5 - 4 Function Utilities Broadca st Broadcast enables the machine to scan the documents into memory , then transmit it to two or more destinations. The same documen t can be transmitted sequentially to up to 143 diff erent destinations. This feature is convenient f or transmitting the same documen t to many different destinations.

Mailbo x TX 5 - 10 Function Utilities Mailbox TX Mailbox TX lets the machine transmit a d ocument confidentially to a particular person. It is co nven ient w hen you w ant t o sen d a con fid enti al or pri vate doc ument to a pa rt icula r pe rso n without allowing any other people to read it.

Print Ma ilbox RX 5 - 12 Function Utilities Print Mailbox RX Mailbox RX lets the mac hine receive and pr int a document from a particular person transmitted confidentially by M ailbox TX. It is co nvenient when yo u want to rece ive a confidential or private document from a p articular person with out any other p eople reading it.

Polling TX Function Utilities 5 - 15 Polling TX Polling TX allows you to set a document to be retriev ed by a remote fax machine. Y our m achine automatically sends the stored document in response to polling requests from remote devices. Y ou can set a 4-digit password to distinguish polling document.
Polling RX 5 - 16 Function Utilities Polling RX Polling RX starts from your end, the tra nsmission of a document that has been put in the ready state at the o ther par ty’ s en d, to receiv e that do cument at y our end.Th e other party must be re ady for polling tr ansmission before y ou can r eceive a d ocument by Po lling RX.
Relay Initiate Function Utilities 5 - 17 Relay Initiate Relay TX allows the operator to ma ke one long distance call to a remote u nit and the rem ote unit will relay the message to one or mor e fax units in the loca l area. W ith this function, you can save valuable time and telephone charges.
Canc el Reserve 5 - 18 Function Utilities Cancel Re serve Cancel Reserv e cancels a transmission reservation for a document previously stored in memory for T imer TX, Broadcast TX, and Polling TX.
