Section 9 Inspection and Reconditioning 9.6 Normal: ȱȱĞȱȱȱȱȱȱ ȱ can be reconditioned and reused if the face and margin are in good shape. If a v alve is worn to where the margin is less than 1/32" do not reuse it.
Section 9 Inspection and Reconditioning 9 9.7 Excessive Combustion T emperatures: The white deposits seen here indicate very high combustion temperatures, usually due to a lean fuel mixture. Gum: Gum deposits usually result from using stale gasoline. Gum is a prev alent cause of valve sticking.
