2-1 2 Installati on Installing the Softwar e If you p urchased your Kodak Digital Science DVC323 Digital V ideo camera (DVC323 camera) by itself—not bundled with a computer system—you must install the software that is on the DV C323 So ftware CD o nto yo ur personal computer befo re you conn ect the camera.

3-1 3 Connect Camera Connecting Y our DVC323 Camera Once software fo r using the Kodak Digital Science DVC323 Digital V ideo camera (DVC323 camera) is installed on your personal compu ter , you are ready to connect you r DVC323 camera to you r computer .
3-2 Monitor Adjustment Y o u m a y n eed to adjust the dis play sett ings for your monito r to view pictures from the DVC323 camera. 1 Double-click on th e My Computer icon. 2 Double-click on th e Contr o l P an el ic on. 3 Double-click on th e Disp lay icon to view the “Display Properties” windo w .

4-5 Pictur es & V ideos 4 Color Balance The software has automatic and manual color balance op tions. When Auto White Balance is selected on the “V ideo Settings” window , the software automatically adjusts the colo rs for the current ligh ting conditi ons.
4-6 Exposure The software has auto matic and manual expo sure control options. When Auto Exposure is selected on the “V ideo Settings” window , the software adjusts the bright ness.
4-7 Pictur es & V ideos 4 Adjusting Y our Camera for V ideoconfer encin g Severa l videoconferen cing soft ware application s do not allow you to enhance the video image settings directly . As shown in the previou s section, you can adjust the image quality attribu tes (brightness, zoom, hue, etc.
4-8 Printing Y our Pict ur es When print ing your capt ured pict ures, we recommen d using Kodak In kjet Snapshot paper . Snapshot Paper is des igned to work with most inkjet printers to produce clearer , crisper , and more detailed imag es. ☞ The 4 x 6 in.
