4 H ARDWARE I NSTALLATION G UIDE 2.1 S ETTING U P 1. Place the case upright on a flat, st able surface w ith the rear of the case facing you. 2. Remove the thumbscrews from the right side panel. Grip the panel at t he top and bottom and slide it toward you to open the case.
5 2.3 CP S ERIES P OWER S UPPLY M OUNT Your Antec P183 enclosure com es with a power supply mounting adapter to m ount either a standard- size power s upply or Antec's exclusive CP Series high-performanc e power supply. This adapt er is mounted to the chassis with sta ndard Phillips-hea d screws.
6 2.6 I NTERNAL 3.5” D EVICE I NSTALLATION With the fro nt bezel facing you, sw ing the front door open. It can swing 270º so the door will be parallel with the side of the case. You c an see there are four 5.25” and one 3.5” ext ernal drive bays.
7 2.7 E XTERNAL 3.5” D EVICE I NSTALLATION There is o ne external 3.5” drive bay. 1. Carefully remove the plastic driv e bay cover and met al plate covering t he drive bay. 2. Find a pair o f 3.5”drive rails in the included hardware kit box. 3. Mount the drive rails onto the side s of the 3.
8 2.9 I NTERNAL 2.5” D EVICE I NSTALLATION Your c ase has two HDD trays in the upper HDD cage that can each suppo rt one 2.5” dev ice. Note that installing a 2 .5” device in one of these trays will mak e it unavailable for 3.5” device use. 1. Remov e the thumbscrew holding the upper HDD cage .

12 4.2 O PTIONAL F ANS There a re three optional 120 mm fan mounts – two front fans (in front of t he upper HDD cages) and a middle fa n (at the rear end of the upper HDD cage). These three fans should be installed so that the air is blow ing into the case from t he front.
