G-1 Warnings, Cautions an d Others CAUTION The button in any position does not disconnect the m ains line. Disconnect the mains plug to shut the power off completely (the STANDBY lamp goes off). The MAINS plug or an app liance coupler is used as the disc onnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

4 Connections Connecting the Antenna NOTES: • Make sure the F M antenna does not touc h any othe r terminals, connecti ng cords or the AC power cord. Also, keep the antenn a away from metallic pa rts of the unit, connecting cords an d the AC power cord.
5 Connectin g the Video Co rd to V iew a Vid eo/Pictur e from iPod When vi ewing a vi deo/pic ture fro m iPod on your TV , use a comp osite vi deo cord ( not supp lied) t o connec t the VIDE O OUT jack on the unit and the co mposite video input on your TV.
6 Canceling the Display Demonstration (Demo) When you c onnect the AC power cord for th e first time, the displ ay demonstra tion starts automa tically. • When yo u operate t he unit, th e display dem onstratio n stops temp orarily. If no operati on is done for about 2 minutes, the uni t starts the display demonstra tion ag ain.

18 Presetti ng Station s You can prese t 30 FM stations . NOTES: • When you unplu g the AC power cord or if a power failure occurs, the preset stations will be e rased in a few days. • If yo u store a new stati on onto an occupie d preset number, th e station previo usly stored on that number will be erased .
19 Connecting Other Equipment By using a st ereo mini pl ug cord (not supplied ), you can co nnect other eq uipment wi th analog audio output jacks, such as a p ortable audio play er, etc. • Refer to the instruction manual su pplied with the eq uipme nt.
20 Setting the Clock Set the b uilt-in cloc k before usi ng Time r. • You ca n set the cloc k when the uni t is turned o n or on stand by. • To exit from the clock settin g, pr ess CLOCK/TIME R as require d. • To corr ect a misent ry during the proce ss, press MENU/ CANCEL.

23 Troubleshootin g If you have a p roblem with your u nit, check this list fo r a possible sol ution before cal ling for se rvice. General Power doe s not come o n. The power plu g is not inserted securely. Plug it in securely (P.5). Power turns o n even t hough you turned off.
