This User’ s Guide explains settings for the netw ork related menus, operation for recording streaming data to a CF (Compact Flash) memory card and operation for sending streaming data using a LAN card.

8 Menu screen Setting the NETWORK P ACK CONFIG menu screen Menu screen settings can be made regardless of whether a card is inserted. Settings will be stored in the KA-D V5000 memory even when turning the power off. Settings are made by viewing the LCD screen or vie wfinder screen.

It is also possible to pla yback video and audio from KA-D V5000 on your PC in the STREAMCAPTURE screen in realtime (liv e display ) as well as sav e data to files.

42 Others Checking comm unication/connection By using the PING command standard to Windows, it is possible to chec k whether the connection is correct and that communication can be made from the PC to KA-D V5000. 1.
