8 Basic setting for picture T o operate this function with a menu: ❇ MENU PICTURE PICTURE MODE T o return the USER setting to the default, press the blue button when the PICTURE SETTING menu appears . PICTURE SETTING Y ou can adjust the desired picture setting when selecting USER in PICTURE MODE.
9 Advance setting for pictur e BLUE BACK Y ou can set the TV to automatically change to a blue screen and mute the sound if the signal is weak or absent, or when ther e is no input from an antenna. Select the BLUE B A CK in the INST ALL menu, then choose ON or OFF .
10 Original features for pictur e TELETEXT Y ou can watch the T eletext br oadcast channel with TEXT function. 1 Press the TEXT button to select the desired mode as follows: 2 Press the CHANNEL -/+ buttons, number buttons or colour buttons to select other T eletext pages.
11 SOUND SYSTEM Y ou can select an appropriate sound s ystem when abnormal sound occurs e ven when the picture appears normally . Press the SOUND S YSTEM button to select a setting.

Select the AI V OLUME in SOUND menu, then choose ON or OFF. ❇ MENU SOUND AI VOLUME OFF Cancel the function. HIGH Listen to sound with more wider audience effect.
13 DVD FUNCTION AUTO SIGNAL DETECT When the D VD input signal is detected. The input mode will be changed to VIDEO-3 automatically . F or The D VD player , pr ess the “ POWER ON ” button of the machine so that the signal can be detected.
14 Customized setting OFF DIGIT AL VNR is turned off. MIN Effect of DIGIT AL VNR becomes minimum level. AUTO Effect of DIGIT AL VNR is automatically contr olled. MAX Effect of DIGIT AL VNR becomes maximum level. DIGIT AL VNR Y ou can reduce the picture noise .
15 CHILD LOCK Y ou can disable the front contr ol buttons of the TV . Select the CHILD LOCK in the FEA TURES menu, then choose ON or OFF . ❇ MENU FEATURES CHILD LOCK Customized setting (continued) T o view a lock ed TV channel: 1 Choose a programme number in which a TV channel locked with the number buttons or PR LIST .
