18 V M9215 BT External D evices External peripheral devices, including a game console , camcorder , navigation unit, iP od, Zune, et c. can be connected to this unit via RCA output using an A/V Media Adapter Cable (not included).
19 V M9215 BT Audio C ontrol Menu The Audio C ontrol featur e allows you to easily adjust your audio syst em to meet the acoustical characteristics of your vehicle , which var y depending on the type of vehicle and its measurements . Proper setting of the F ader and Balance boosts the e ec ts of the cabin equalizer .
20 V M9215 BT T able 3. Equalizer Adjustments Setting Adjustable Range F unction BASS -14 to +14 Reduces or increases the bass frequency sound level. T ouch the + or - buttons to adjust the settings. MID -14 to +14 Reduces or increases the mid-range frequency sound level.

24 V M9215 BT Sy stem Reset T o correct a system halt or other illegal operation, use the tip of a pen to press the r eset button [RESET] Button located on the front bottom-right c orner of the unit. After a system reset, the unit r estores all factor y default settings.
25 V M9215 BT STEERING WHEEL C ONTROLS (SWC) (if equipped) The VM9215BT is compatible with the P AC (P aci c Accessory Corporation) SWI-PS and Metra ASWC steering wheel control adapters . A 3.5mm female connector (labeled “SWC Inter face ”) on the back of the head unit allows connectivity to the adapters.

29 V M9215 BT Language Sub-menu F eatures If a DVD suppor ts more than one Subtitle or Audio language , all the languages are available f or selection during playback. I f the selected language is not suppor ted by the DVD , then the default language is used.
30 V M9215 BT Rating Sub-menu F eatures The DVD system has a built-in par ental lock feature t o prevent unauthorized persons from viewing restricted disc content. By default, the rating sy stem is unlocked. Once set up , the parental lock is released only by entering the c orrect password .

32 V M9215 BT Hardw are Sub-menu Features If the rear-view video camera is connected, the unit is on, and the TFT monitor is retracted inside the unit, the TFT monitor automatically moves into the viewing position and Camera mode is selected upon shifting into REVERSE gear .
33 V M9215 BT If the monitor is in display mode, the monitor aut omatically switches to CAMERA mode upon reverse driving . When the r everse driving stops, the monit or return to its original input mode. Demo Sub-menu Features The Demo mode is on and set to A uto run by default.

44 V M9215 BT Multi-Language Discs (DVD Only) Changing Audio Language If you are watching a disc rec orded in multiple languages, touch A UDIO on the second page of DVD on-screen contr ols to choose a language. Each time the icon is touched the language will change.
