Theref ore, the IF2 will work out of the box if you connect it to your networ k and use a DHCP server to assign it an IP address.

When you disable access, you will not be able to configure the IF2 as described in “ Assigning an Initial IP Address” on page 7.

The serial connection is one of eight possible connections. For more information on BRI, see the Basic Reader Interf ace Progr ammer’s Reference Manual .
