TM700 User Gu ide - Setting Up the System 2 - 2 Overview This chapter describes how to select a site, unpack the system, ma ke cable connections, and power on the system units. Information on front and rear panel features, switches and LEDs are also included in this chapter .
TM700 User Gu ide - Setting Up the System 2 - 3 Selecting a Site The system operates reliably in a typical office environment. Choose a site that is: ■ Near grounded, three-pr onged power outlets. Note : For the United St ates and Canada, this means a NEMA 6-15R outlet for 200-2 40 V AC.

If the shipping boxes are damage d, note the damage, and if possible, photograph it for reference. After removing the contents of th e containers, keep the cartons and the pack- ing materials.
