For y our saf ety NEVER ● Allow children to pla y with or otherwise interfere with the dry er . NEVER ● Allow the air inlet at the bac k of the dr yer , the air outlet or v ent hose to be obstructed. NEVER ● Direct the vent hose outlet to wards the air intake at the bac k of the machine.
For y our safety AL W A YS ● When the dr y er is not in use, s witch off at the wall, remov e plug and close the door . AL W A YS ● Comply with the specified electrical requirements. AL W A YS ● Ensure that your dryer is installed correctly and has adequate ventilation.

Features - Get to kno w the main par ts of y our dr y er Model and serial numbers NO TE: if y our dryer is new wipe out the inside of the drum before y ou first use it to remove an y dust which may have accum ulated during transit. NO TE: When the dryer is in use, av oid touching the back of the mac hine as it may be hot.
Where to put and vent y our dr y er Y our T umble Dryer should NO T be located adjacent to a gas hob cooker , heater , or eye le vel g r ill as flames from the b ur ners could cause damage to your machine . When the dr yer is fitted under a work surface allo w space for air to enter the rear grille, 10mm above the dr y er minimum.
Where to put and vent y our dr y er In conjunction with the vent hose w e recommend the use of a W all/Window V ent Kit. These are av ailable from y our retailer or nearest Spares Centre. Fitting instructions are supplied with the kits, which can be mounted through a wall or windo w .
Ho w to use y our dryer 1. Plug in, s witch on electricity . 2. Sor t your laun- dr y (see section “Sor ting Y our Laundr y”) 3. Open the door . Check that the fluff filter is clean (see section “How to remov e and clean the fluff filter”). 4.
Sor ting y our laundr y 1. Alw ays separate laundry into the correct fabric groups bef ore washing and drying. 2. See that all zips are closed, hooks and ey es are fastened and belt, strings etc. are tied loosely in bows, y ou will nor mally h ave done this f or each item before the washing stage .
W ash Care Labels Most of toda y’s f abr ics can be tumble dried in y our Dr yer with no trouble at all, b ut there are cer tain fabric finishes which should be dried awa y from direct heat. The majority of gar ments now ha ve w ash-care labels on them, giving full washing and drying instr uctions .
Items requiring special attention The dr ying requirements of b lankets and bedspreads will, of cou rse, vary tremendously according to size and weight. Some , howe ver ar e simply too big. if you hav e difficulty getting them into the Dr y er, the machine will hav e difficulty dr ying them properly .
Ho w to remo ve and c lean the fluff filter P osition of filter T o remove the filter A very impor tant par t of y our dr yer is the fluff filter at the front edge of the drum. It’ s there to trap the par ticles of lint and fluff which are normally blown a way when clothes are dried on the washing-line.

Please note that the Dr ying Times stated below and on appliance control panel are a GUIDE only and dr ying times are aff ected by : Items such as towelling retain a lot of w ater after spinning, also the suggested wash progr amme for small items such as T -Shir ts ma y sometimes incor porate a lo w spin speed which has the same effect.
When finished After each load As necessary Lubrication Caring f or y our Dr y er Y our tumble dryer needs very little attention. The f ollowing simple steps will keep it perf or ming w ell. Switch off electricity and remo ve plug. Alwa ys clean the filter and tur n the drum by hand to chec k that small items like handk erchiefs do not get missed.
If something goes wr ong First, don’t panic! There may be nothing wrong at all. Look f or your problem belo w , then check the things we suggest. More often than not, this will give y ou the answ er to your problem, and y ou’ll be able to carr y on without ha ving to telephone your Service Office.
