GENERAL SAFETY PRECA UTIONS 12 – English • Then press the power trigger up to apply full pow er. Release the power trigger and check thereb y the free back mov ement of the power trigger . The cutting unit must stop within 1 second. Restar t the machine and release the power trigger lock out on the front handle.
B A TTER Y HANDLING English – 13 Battery status The display shows the battery capacity and if there are any problems with the battery . The battery capacity is display ed for 5 seconds after the machine is s witched off or the battery indicator button is pressed.
B A TTER Y HANDLING 14 – English T ranspor t and storage • The contained lithium-ion-batteries are subject to the Dangerous Goods Legislation requirements. • For commercial tr anspor ts e.g. by third par ties, forw arding agents, special requirement on packing and labeling must be observed.

W ORKING TECHNIQ UES 16 – English General working instructions Basic safety rules • Nev er allow children to use or be in the vicinity of the machine. • Observe your surroundings and make sure that there is no risk of people or animals coming into contact with the cutting equipment.

W ORKING TECHNIQ UES 18 – English • Do not rush the work, but work steadily until all the branches hav e been cut back cleanly . • The hedge trimmer’s rear handle can be set in fi ve positions by pulling out the catch. See fi gure. When the handle is adjusted, the cutting attachment must not be running.
