ASSEMBL Y 10 – English Fitting the hand guard and loop handle (327HD A65, 327HE3) 1 Assemble the hand guard and loop handle b y screwing them together . T ake care to align the holes in both par ts . (327HDA65) 2 Slide the loop handle and hand guard onto the shaft.
ASSEMBL Y English – 11 Adjusting the harness (327HE4) Y ou should alwa ys use the har ness with the machine to give maximum control o ver the machine and reduce the risk of fatigue in your arms and back. 1 Put on the harness. 2 Hook the machine onto the harness suppor t hook.
FUEL HANDLING 12 – English Fuel safety Nev er star t the machine: 1 If you ha ve spilt fuel on it. Wipe off the spillage and allow remaining fuel to e vaporate. 2 If you ha ve spilt fuel on yourself or y our clothes, change your clothes. W ash any par t of your body that has come in contact with fuel.
FUEL HANDLING English – 13 Mixing • Alwa ys mix the petrol and oil in a clean container intended for fuel. • Alwa ys star t by filling half the amount of the petrol to be used. Then add the entire amount of oil. Mix (shake) the fuel mixture. Add the remaining amount of petrol.
ST AR TING AND ST OPPING 14 – English Check bef ore star ting • Inspect the working area. Remove an y objects that could be thrown out. • Check the cutting attachment. Ne ver use blades that are dull, crack ed or damaged. • Check that the machine is in perf ect working order.
ST AR TING AND ST OPPING English – 15 CA UTION! Do not pull the star ter cord all the way out and do not let go of the star ter handle when the cord is fully extended. This can damage the machine. CA UTION! Do not put any par t of your body in marked area.
W ORKING TECHNIQ UES 16 – English General working instructions P ersonal protection • Alwa ys wear boots and other equipment described under the heading P ersonal protective equipment. • Alwa ys wear working clothes and heavy-duty long trousers.
W ORKING TECHNIQ UES English – 17 • Alwa ys lay the machine on the ground when y ou are not using it. • Do not cut too close to the ground. Stones and other objects can be thrown out.
W ORKING TECHNIQ UES 18 – English (327HD A65) • Undo the knob . • Press the cutting unit against the hedge or some other firm surface until the required angle is set.
MAINTENANCE English – 19 Carburettor Y our Husqv ar na product has been designed and manuf actured to specifications that reduce har mful emissions.
MAINTENANCE 20 – English cause fire if directed against dry and combustible material. Some mufflers are equipped with a special spark arrestor mesh. If your machine has this type of muffler , you should clean the mesh at least once a week. This is best done with a wire brush.
MAINTENANCE English – 21 spark plug should be replaced after about a month in operation or earlier if necessary . CA UTION! Always use the recommended spark plug type! Use of the wrong spark plug can damage the piston/ cylinder . Check that the spark plug is fitted with a suppressor .
MAINTENANCE 22 – English Cleaning and lubrication Clean any resin and plant residue from the blades using cleaning agent 531 00 75-13 (UL22) before and after using the machine. Lubricate the blade bars with special grease, part no. 531 00 75-12 (UL 21) before long periods of storage .
