Getting Star ted 29 SIM card The SIM card c ontains your phone number , ser vice details, and phonebook/ message memor y . Y our device suppor ts both 1.8V and 3V SIM cards. Note Some legac y SIM cards may not function with your device . Y ou should consult with your service provider for a r eplacement SIM card .
30 Getting Started Battery Y our device comes with a rechar geable Lithium-ion batter y and is designed to use only manufacturer-specified original batteries and acc essories.
Getting Star ted 31 T o install the battery Align the batt er y ’ s exposed copper contacts with the battery connec tors inside the battery compar tment. Inser t the contacts-side of the battery first and then gently push the battery into place. Replace the back cov er .
32 Getting Started T o install a microSD card Remove the batt er y if it is installed. Slide the microSD™ car d holder down to ward the bottom of the device, and then flip it up . Inser t the microSD card into the holder gold contacts- end first, and also with the gold contacts facing down.
Getting Star ted 33 As the battery is being charged while the power is on, a char ging icon appears in the title bar of the Home screen. After the batt er y has been fully charged, a full battery icon appears in the title bar of the Home screen.

Exchang ing M essages 105 6.3 MMS Sending multimedia messages (MMS) to your friends and family is fun and easy . Y ou can include pictures, videos , and audio clips in a multimedia message. Notes • Multimedia messaging is a charged service and has to be provisioned on y our mobile phone account.
