10 BasicsBasics Inserting the battery Line up the battery’ s copper c ontacts with the connect ors inside the battery slot. T hen, gently push the battery int o place. Remo ving the battery Lift out the battery fr om the small opening on the right side of the battery c ompartment.

21 Phone calls Phone calls If the phone is already f acing down, the phone will still ring when ther e are subsequent incoming calls. Using in-call options When a call is in pr ogress, use the butt ons onscreen to mut e or unmute the microphone or to turn on or off the speak erphone.
22 Phone calls Phone calls T urning the speak erphone on or off during a call T ap . T ap speaker . T ap speaker again t o turn off the speakerphone. Make sur e you don’t ha ve the phone against y our ear when you ha ve the speak erphone on. It may damage y our hearing.

Y ou’ll be able to see c ontacts from y our Window s Live, Fac ebook, as well as other email ac counts lik e Google and Outlook (Microsoft Ex change Activ eSync).
