Getting Started 1 Basic setup Y our computer is designed for use in a bu siness setting. The instructions pro vided here are general guidelines. Contact you r network administrator if you ha ve additional questions about your computer or your company netw ork.

Basic s etup Getting Started 5 Automa tic lo gon The factory setting for the computer is automatic logon. ✎ Only the network administrator can change automatic logon properties. W ith automatic logon, the Log On to W indows dialog box is b ypassed, which brings you directly to the W indo ws desktop.

But if the computer feels unusually warm, it may be ov erheating because a vent is block ed. If you suspect that the computer is ov erheatin g, allow the computer to cool to room temperature.
