Work at each end alternately so that the connect or slides on evenly wit hout bending the pins.

Disconnect the key board cable (wide) from the motherboard, and release t he pointing stick cable (narrow) if present.

Af ter installing a new mother board, you must reprogr am the BIO S IC, preferably with the latest BIOS— see page 2-29.
