Wireless without a router (ad hoc co nnection) Use this section i f you want to conne ct the HP Photosm art to a wi reless-capable com puter without using a wirel ess router or access poin t. To create a netw ork profile (Windo ws Vista) NOTE: The product comes conf igured with a netw ork profile with hp (pro duct model).(6-digit u nique identifie r) as the network name (SSID). Howeve r, for security and privacy HP recomm ends you create a new n etwork profile on your computer as described here.
