5 Installation The height of the cooker can be adjusted by means of adjustable feet in the plinth (900mm - 915mm). Adjust the feet by tilting the cooker from the side. Then install the product into position. NO TE: T his appliance must not be fitted on a platform.
6 Safety Information When used pr op erly y our appliance is completely safe but as with any electrical produc t ther e are cer tain precautions that must be observed. PLEASE READ THE PRECA UTIONS BELO W BEFORE USING Y OUR APPLIANCE. Al ways l Remove all packing from inside the oven and grill compartments before switching on for the first time.
7 S af et y Inf orma tion Ne ver l Never line the interior of the oven with foil as this may cause the appliance to overheat. l Never leave children unsupervised where a cooking appliance is installed as all surfaces will be hot during and after its use.
8 Installing the Eye-Level Grill 1 . Remove the product packaging. 2 . Remov e the rear cov er pro t ecting the Grill assembly , which is fixed in place with 6 screws (see photograph). 3 . Place the Grill assembly on the lef t-hand side of the cooker , tak ing care not to scratch/damage the enamel.
9 5 . Fix the Grill assembly to the cooker using three screws on the right-hand side and three screws on the left- hand side as shown in the photograph, using the screws supplied. 6 . Connect the 3 electric Grill wires. 7 . Ensure that the wires are positioned as in figure and that the sleeving is ov er the bar .

12 Use of Hotplates Note: Under no circumstances should the hob be used with aluminium foil in contact with the hob sur f ace . The controls set the hotplates a t six pre-set power lev els. Each control can be used to select one of six temperature settings from a minimum at position 1 to a maximum at position 6.

14 Hotplates General Information Notes Do Not Do not cook directly on the hob sur face without a coo k ing utensil, as this will result in damage t o the sur face of the hob. Do not use the hob as a worktop surface as damage may occur to the smooth sur face of the hob .
15 Choosing Y our Utensils Do not use utensils with rough bases. Do not use light w eight utensils with thin, dist or ted or uneven bases. Do not use lightweight enamelled steel utensils. Do not use c ast iron utensils. Do not use utensils with recessed, scrolled or r idged bases .

21 Care and Cleaning Electric sealed hotplates The cleaning of sealed hotplat es should b e done when they are cold , using a soap filled Brillo pad, follo wing the grain of the hotplate. This will ensur e that any stubbo r n, bur n t on spillages are remov ed.
