PLANNING THE INST ALLA TION Application The F300E Electronic Air Cleaner is used in a forced air heating, cooling, or ventilating system. It removes airborne par ticles from the air circulated through it.

Install a standard disposable furnace filter between the humidifier and the air cleaner to trap water droplets and hard water salts . 3. F requently clean the air cleaner to prev ent a hard water salt b uildup.

F300E ELECTR ONIC AIR CLEANER 68-0240-1 7 ❑ Place bloc ks under the cabinet so the unit is firmly suppor ted and lev el. The 5/8 in. (16 mm) mounting foot on the cabinet hinge plate provides the minimum clear ance required f or the access door hinge.

V acuum the prefilter or brush, or soak it in a tub . Do not wash the prefilter in the dishwasher or car w ash.

Rinse the cell(s) and prefilter(s) with a hard spra y of very hot water; rinse the tub clean, then fill the tub with clean hot water and soak f or 5 to 15 minutes.
