- 10 - Arming the System IS THE SYSTEM READY? You can arm and disarm the burglar portion of your security system. Before you can arm the s yst em, it must be “rea dy.” If you have a protect ed door open, or someon e is movin g in vie w of a mo tion dete ctor, t he syste m will no t disp lay the “ READY ” mes sage.

Th e following conditions will be indicat ed by the zone lights (LED keypad) or descri bed on the dis play: Fast Blink .

- 13 - Arming the System (cont) TO BYPASS A ZONE The Bypas s function excl udes a zone o f protection from the s ecurity sys tem until it is unbypass ed (either b y using the unbypass procedure or when you disa rm the system) . Byp assing can o nly be done while the system is d isarme d.
- 14 - Disarming the System When you dis arm the system, you di sarm only t he burglar port ion of your sy stem; any smoke or heat detecto rs and panic ke ys will remain armed. Yo u must enter through a des ignated ent ry door and dis arm the system wi thin the time al lowed.

Y our system can ha ve up to 15 (OMNI4 00 and OMN I600), 3 2 (OMNI6 24), or 64 ( OMNI848) d iffere nt user c odes, with each assigned to one of four au thority le vels and to a pr imary partition (OMNI624 an d OMNI 848 only ).
