Honda Music Link Designed specifically for Honda v ehicles, Honda Music Link allows y ou to play music from y our Apple ® iP od ® on your v ehicle's audio system. Music Link connects y our iP od directly to your vehicle's audio sy stem for the best sound-quality results.
4 What's Included Y our Honda Music Link kit includes a dealer -installed Music Link cable located in your v ehicle's glov e bo x, a Quic k R ef erence Guide to get you started quic kly , and a Honda Music Link CD .
5 What Y ou Need • iP od: 4th generation or later iP od, iP od mini ® , iP od U2 Special Edition ® , or iP od nano ® . (See right.) Music Link cannot be used with iP od shuf fle ® . Make sure y our iP od has been updated with the latest firmware from Apple.
6 Using Music Link Without Honda TTS Connecting Y our iP od Make sure y our iP od is in music mode (not photo mode). Then, find the Music Link cable installed inside the glov e box, and plug it into the doc k connector port on the bot tom of the iP od.

8 Using Music Link Without Honda TTS (Continued) Play ing Music 1 . Connect the iP od (see page 6 ), turn the ignition switc h to the ON (II) or A CC (I) position, and turn on the audio system. 2. Press the XM/A UX or CD/A UX but ton to select Music Link.

T o run Honda TTS, connect y our iP od to your computer . T o update (and create TTS files) for the music on y our iP od, clic k the OK but ton on the Honda TTS update screen.
12 Using Music Link With Honda TTS (Continued) T ext-T o-Speech Set tings Y ou can c hange and adjust the text-to-speec h set tings for TTS files (voice prompts) that Honda TTS creates. Modifying the sy stem voice and the v oice speed ma y help improv e intelligibility .
