Chapter 1 - System Overview 2 Description Processor Type and Speed The Enterprise-II EISA motherboard comes with either an 80486DX operating at 25, 33, or 50 MHz or an 80486SX operating at 25 MHz. The Enterprise-II also supports future Intel processors and upgradable processors.

It works with a standard AT-compatible keyboard. A 5-pin DIN to 6-pin mini DIN converter is needed to connect a PS/2-type keyboard.

Most connector wires are color-coded. Match the color of the wires leaving the switch or LED to the same pin on the connector end.

Appendix A - 32-bit Memory Card 88 Appendix A 32-Bit Enterprise-II Memory Card The 80486 Enterprise-II motherboard supports up to 32 MB of SIMMs on the motherboard. You can install the Series 19 32-bit Memory Card to increase 32-bit memory. All SIMM banks on the motherboard must be filled before installing a 32-bit Memory Card.
