-8- H8 1 45 B aby T able Saw Below are tips to avoid th e most c ommon causes of kick back : • Only cut workpieces with at least one smooth and straight edge. DO NOT cut excessively warped, cupped or twisted wood. If the workpiece warpage is questionable, always choose another workpiece.

H8 1 45 B aby T able Saw - 1 7 - To make a rip cut: 1. Set up the fence for "Standard Cutting," as described in Fence Setup on Page 15 . 2. Review all safety information in the begin- ning of this manual, including Preventing Kickback on Page 8 .
- 1 8- H81 45 Baby T able Saw "Crosscutting" means cutting across the grain of the workpiece. With MDF or particleboard, cross - cutting means cutting across the width of the workpiece. DO NOT cros scut workpiec es narrow er than 6" with this machine.
