Setup 18 3A0420H Air Motor P osition The air motor posit ion must be se t f or the mix ratio of the machine, which is defi ned by which two pumps are mounted. 1. V erify that the correct pumps are mounte d f or yo ur mix ratio by v olume. See char t in Bare Pr oportion- ing Pump P acka ges on page 11.
Setup 3A0420H 19 Connect Air Suppl y 1. Connect the air sup ply hose to the 3/4 npt(f) air filter inlet (C). NO TE: Use a 3/4 in. ( 19.1 mm) ID minim um air hose. Air consumption is 75 cfm per gallon per min ute spra ying. Do not use pin fittin g type quick discon - nects.
Pressure Relief Procedure 20 3A0420H Pressure Relief Pr ocedure Relieve A and B Fluid Pressure 1. Engage the tr igger lo ck. 2. Close the main air shutoff valve (CA). 3. Shut off he aters, if used. 4. Shut off feed pumps, if used. 5. Remove the spray tip and clean .

Recirculation ensures th at any settled fillers a re mixed in, the pump lines are fully primed, and the pump chec k v alv es are operat ing smoothly .
