If the camera is unable to focus using autofocus, use fo cus lock (pg. 22) to focus on another subjec t at the same dis tance and then recompose the p hotograph.
24 G Close-ups (Macro Mode ) Macro mode can be used for close-ups in A , B , C , D , N , D , P , Q , and B modes (pp. 29–3 3) . Macro mode is aut omatical ly selec ted in P and Q modes; to select macro mode in A , B , C , D , N , D , and B modes, press the selec t or lef t ( G ).
