9 BEFORE SETTING OVEN CONTROLS TYPES OF OVEN RACKS Y our appliance is equipped with three types of the oven rack, as shown; • Flat Handle Oven Rack (Figure 1). • Flat Oven Half Rack (Figure 2 & 3) (some models). • Offset Oven Rack (Figure 4).
10 BEFORE SETTING OVEN CONTROLS CONTROL PAD FEATURES READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE OVEN. For satisfactory use of your oven, become familiar with the various features and functions of the ov en as described below . Detailed instructions for each feature and function follow later in this Use & Care Guide.

12 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS SETTING CONTINUOUS BAKE OR 6 HOUR ENERGY SAVING The TIMER and SELF CLEAN pads cont rol the Continuous Bak e or 6 Hour E ner gy Savi ng f ea tur es . The ov en c ont ro l has a f actory preset built -in 6 Hour Energy Saving feature that will shut off the oven if the ov en contr ol is left on f or mor e than 6 hours.
13 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS SETTING MINUTE TIMER The TIMER ON . OFF pad controls the Minute Timer feature. The Minute Timer serves as an extra timer in the kitchen that will beep when the set time has run out. It does not start or stop cooking. The Minute Timer feature can be used during an y of the other oven contr ol functions.
14 SETTING POWERPLUS TM PREHEAT or QUICK PREHEAT Use the quick preheat feature when using single rack baking to quickly heat the oven to bake temperatures. Use this feature only for standar d baking. A reminder tone will sound indicating when to place the food in the ov en.

17 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS NOTE Pressing CANCEL w i l l s t o p th e fe at u r e a t a n y t i m e . SETTING CONVECTION BROIL (some models) Use this mode for thicker cuts of meat, fi sh and poultry . The Convection Broiling gent ly browns the exterior and seals in the juices.
18 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS NOTE Baking time can be set for any amount of time between 1 minute to 6 hours. The time remaining can be shown in the timer section of the display by pressing BAKE TIME at any moment of the cooking. On ce Ba k e Tim e has st a rt e d baking, a beep will sound when the oven temperature reaches the set temperature.
19 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS NOTE T o assure your electr onic contr ols safet y when broilin g with the oven door in broil position, an high speed cooling fan will blow air through the trims above the door(s). SETTING BROIL This mode is best for meats, fi sh and poultry up to 1” thick.
20 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS NOTE The Chick en Nugge ts featu re is automat ically progr ammed to activate the Keep W arm feature when the cooking is fi nished. “ HLD ” will be displa yed for a maximu m of 3 hours. See the K eep W arm feature for mor e information.

22 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS SETTING THE SABBATH FEATURE (for use on the Jewish Sabbath & Holidays) The BAKE TIME and DELAY START pads are used to set the Sabbath feature.

24 SELF-CLEANING What to Expect during Cleaning Wh i le th e ov en is in op er ati o n, th e ov en hea t s to tem pe ra tu r es much higher than those used in normal cooking. Sounds of metal expansion and contraction are normal. Odor is also normal as the food soil is being removed.
25 SELF-CLEANING NOTE If a 2 or 4 hour clean time is desired, press SELF CLEAN multiple times to toggle between 2, 3 or 4 hours. 27 CARE & CLEANING CAUTION The door is heavy . For safe, tempor ary storage, lay the door fl at with the inside of the door facing down. REMOVING AND REPLACING THE LIFT- OFF OVEN DOOR To Remove Oven Door: 1. Open oven door completely (horizontal with fl oor - See Figure 1).
28 CARE & CLEANING TO REMOVE THE “HIDDEN BAKE” COVER (some models) 1. In order to remove the “hidden bake” cover , pull the back edge with one hand about ½ inch and lift up the “hidden bake” cover with both hands.
