8 BEFORE SETTING OVEN CONTROLS Oven Vent Location The oven is vented at the upper trim . When the oven is on,warmairisreleasedthroughthev ent.Thisventingis necessary for proper air circulation in the o ven and good baking results.
9 Control pad features READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE OVEN. Forsatisf actoryuseofyouroven,become familiar with the v arious features and functions of the o ven as described below . Detailed instructions for each feature and function follow later in this Use & Care Guide.
10 To Set or Change the Temperature for Baking The oven can be progr ammed to bake at an y temperature f rom 170°F to 500°F (76°C to 260°C). To Set the Controls for Baking: 1. Press BAKE pad. "— — —°" appears in the display . 2. Within5seconds,pressthe UP or DOWN ARROW pad.

13 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS - MODEL B NOTE The oven control has a built -in energy saving f eature that will shut off the oven if the control is left on f or more than 11 hours 59 minutes. To Set or Change the Temperature for Normal Baking The ov en can be programmed to bak e at an y temper ature from 170°F to 550°F (77°C to 287°C).
14 To Set the Bake time Feature The BAKE TIME and ST ART TIME contr ols operate the Timed Bake F eature. The automatic timer will turn the oven on and off at the times y ou select in advance. The oven can be progr ammed to start immediately and shut off automatically or to begin baking at a later time with an automatic shut off .
