7 -EN Adjusting Volume Tu r n t h e Rot ary encode r until the desir ed sound is obtaine d. Lowering Volume Quickly Activating the Audio Mu te funct ion will insta ntly lower the volume level by 20 dB. Press MUTE to activ at e the MUTE mode. The audio level will decr ease by about 20 dB.
8 -EN Presetting Sta tions Manually 1 Selec t the radio band an d tune in a desir ed radi o station you wish to store in th e preset memory . 2 Press and hold, for at least 2 seconds, any one o f the pr eset button s (1 through 6) into whi ch you wish to store the station.
9 -EN Playback 1 Press (OPEN) . The fr ont pan el will open. 2 Insert a disc with the label side facing up. The disc will be pulled into the unit aut omatically . Close the fr ont panel manually and the “ ” indicat or lights up. When a disc is alr eady inserted, pre ss SOURC E/ to switch to the DISC mode.

11 -E N Quick Search Y o u can s earch fo r tr acks (f iles). 1 Press and hold / ENT for at least 2 seconds in the CD/Changer/MP3/WMA/AAC mode to acti v ate Quick Search mode. 2 Tu r n t h e Ro tary encod er to select a desired track (fil e). The select ed track i s played back immed iately .

13 -E N Setting the Subwoofer L evel Y ou ca n change t he Subwoofer Leve l to create your own tonal preference. 1 Press SO UND SETUP to activate the Sound Setting mode. 2 Tu r n t h e Ro tary encod er to select the SUBW LEVEL Adjustment mode, a nd then press / ENT .

Make this settin g when t he Blueto oth INTERF A C E (KCE -400BT) i s connecte d and the Bluetoot h function is used .

For a small monthly fee, subscrib ers can hear crys tal-clear music, spor ts, ne ws and talk, co ast-to -coast vi a sate llite .

36 -EN In Case of Difficulty If you encoun ter a proble m, turn the power off, then on again. I f the unit is still not functioning nor mally , revie w the item s in the following chec klist. T his gui de will help yo u isol ate t he prob lem if the u nit is at fault.

41 -E N Installation • The ma in unit must be mount ed within 35 degr ees of t he horiz ontal plane, back to front. Removal 1. Remove the deta chable front panel. 2. In ser t the b racke t keys into th e unit, along th e guid es on eith er side. Th e unit can now be r emoved fr om the mounting sleeve.
