7 X341 9pr-0920 BA TTER Y CHARGING Use the charger in dry locations only . ELECTRIC AL HAZARD • Make sure you charge the batter y for at least 18 hours using the enclosed Power Wheels ® 12 volt charger before operating your vehicle for the first time.

9 X341 9pr-0920 ASSEMBL Y • Place a 3 / 8 " (0,95 cm) -16 lock nut (rounded side out) onto a front axle. IMPORT ANT : Tighten the lock nut firmly using the closed end of the assembly tool. • Repeat this procedure to fasten the other front wheel assembly with the other 3 / 8 " (0,95 cm) -16 lock nut.
X341 9pr-0920 10 ASSEMBL Y 1 / 4 " x 1 1 / 4 " (0,6 cm x 3,1 cm) Screws • Insert two 1 / 4 " x 1 1 / 4 " (0,6 cm x 3,1 cm) screws inside of the battery compartment and into the front end of the vehicle. Tighten the screws. Battery Compartment • Fit the bumper onto the front end.
11 X341 9pr-0920 ASSEMBL Y • Fit the large hole on the plates to the door posts. • Align the holes in the plates with the holes in the top side of the vehicle. Plates 16 • Fit the door pegs onto the holes near the front end of the vehicle. Hint: There is a left and right door .
X341 9pr-0920 12 ASSEMBL Y • Fit the tabs on the windshield/dash into the slots in the front end of the vehicle. Windshield/ Dash FRONT VIEW • Insert four #8 x 3 / 4 " (1,9 cm) screws into the base of the windshield/dash.
13 X341 9pr-0920 ASSEMBL Y • Insert the cur ved end of the steering column through the hole in the steering rod. Steering Rod Steering Column • Insert two #8 x 3 / 4 " (1,9 cm) screws into the sides of the windshield/dash. Tighten the screws.
X341 9pr-0920 14 • Insert and "snap" the key assembly into the slot in the dash. 28 Key Assembly ASSEMBL Y • Insert and "snap" the steering wheel cap into the center of the steering wheel.

T o avoid battery leakage: • Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
X341 9pr-0920 16 ASSEMBL Y • Insert the two tabs on the front edge of the seat into the slots in the vehicle. Slots TOP VIEW Note: Make sure the fasteners on both short seat belts face each other . • Fit the folded end of each short seat belt down through the outer slots in the seat.
17 X341 9pr-0920 ASSEMBL Y • Fit the wing tabs into the slots in the top edge near the rear of the vehicle. Hint: There is a left and right wing. They are designed to be assembled one way . Make sure the tabs on the top of the taillights fit into the bottom of each wing.

When applying labels, keep the following guidelines in mind: • Wash your hands before applying the labels. • Before applying the labels, wipe the sur face of the vehicle with a clean, dry cloth to remove any dust or oils.
