Battery Charging E 8 W ARNING • The batter y must be handled b y adults only . The batter y is heavy and contains sulfuric acid (electrolyte). Dropping the batter y could result in ser ious injur y . • Ne v er allow children to charge the battery .
® • Plug the charger into a standard 120 volt w all outlet. Note: If power flo w to the wall outlet is controlled b y a s witch, make sure the s witch is “ON”. • Before first time use , charge the battery for at least 18 hours. Ne ver charge the batter y longer than 30 hours.
Do Not Omit An y Steps Assembl y 3 F 10 2 1 • Snap the shift lev er , ke y assemb ly and knobs into the dashboard, as shown. Shift Le ver K e y Assembly Knobs Dashboard • Inser t the end of the microphone cord through the small round hole in the dashboard.
11 5 6 • Slide a 7 / 16 ” washer onto one of the front axles . • Slide an axle bushing onto the front axle . Make sure the axle bushing is positioned as sho wn in the illustration, with the ring facing the w asher . • Slide a front wheel onto the front axle.
• Using safety scissors , separate the round headlight guards from the plastic connector . Dispose of the plastic connector . • Fit the tabs on the back of the headlight guards into the slots in the front of the hood. • Push fir mly to snap the tabs into the hood.
Steering Column Hole 13 Bottom View • Wipe the steering column with a paper towel to remov e any e xcess lubr icant. • Slide the straight end of the steering column up through the hole in the v ehicle body and out through the hole in the dashboard.
14 Assembl y Ta b Ta b Ta b Seat • Fit the tabs on the seat into the holes in the vehicle body . • Push fir mly near each of the tabs to snap them into the vehicle body . 17 18 19 • Separate the two halv es of the dump bed le v er . • Fit the large spring onto the circular peg on the inside of the bottom (grip) half of the dump bed le ver .
22 23 Small Spring Hinge Pin Hinge Pin Endcap Dump Bed Le ver Hinge Pin Endcap Hole Dump Bed • Inser t a small spr ing into each hinge pin endcap . • Fit a hinge pin endcap onto each end of the dump bed hinge pin. • Push in on the hinge pin endcaps and fit the endcaps through the holes in the underside of the dump bed.

Label Decoration 5 4 1 2 17 Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best! When applying labels, k eep the following guide- lines in mind: • W ash your hands bef ore applying the labels. • Before applying the labels , wipe the surf ace of the v ehi- cle with a clean, dr y cloth to remov e any dust or oils .
® Battery Installation 18 Important Note: Use only a P ow er Wheels ® T ype H bat- ter y with a P ower Wheels ® ther mal fuse installed. Use of any other battery or fuse will damage your v ehicle.
Battery Installation ® 19 5 4 • Squeeze the tabs on each side of the motor harness connector . • Plug the batter y connector into the motor har ness connector .
If a battery leak develops, avoid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged batter y in a plastic bag. See inf or mation below f or proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or ey es, flush with cool water f or at least 15 minutes and call a physician.
10 ° Incline should never be more than 10° 5. Do not operate this v ehicle with more than one rider , seated in the seating area. A child who is not sitting on the seat or who is standing on the v ehicle could f all off, cause a tip-ov er or b lock the driv er’ s view .
• Push the button on the left side of the FOR W ARD/REVERSE switch to set the v ehicle to drive f orward. The FOR W ARD/REVERSE switch is located on the dashboard directly under the steering wheel. • Press down on the f oot pedal. The vehicle will go f orward at a maximum of 3 1 / 2 mph.
Caring For Y our V ehicle 23 L Ho w to Operate Y our V ehicle Using the Dump Bed Latch Opening Dump Bed Le ver Dump Bed • Squeeze the dump le v er on the dump bed and pull up on the le ver . • Push down on the dump bed le v er to return the dump bed to the upright position.

V ehicle was running but Loose wire or loose connectors Check all wir es and connectors. Make sure the battery suddenly stopped connector is tightly plugged into the motor harness connector , and that there are no loose wires ar ound the motors.
