Battery Charging E W ARNING • The batter ies must be handled by adults only . The batter ies are hea vy and contain sulfuric acid (electrolyte). Dropping the batter ies could result in serious injur y . • Nev er allo w children to charge the batteries.
® • Plug the charger into a standard 120 volt w all outlet. Note: If power flo w to the wall outlet is controlled b y a s witch, make sure the s witch is “ON”. • Bef ore first-time use, charge the batteries f or at least 18 hours. Ne ver charge the batteries longer than 30 hours.
• P osition the dash on the vehicle body . Mak e sure the holes in the dash tabs align with the holes in the v ehicle body and that the channel cov er is captured b y the dash. • Inser t two #10 x 1" screws through the holes tow ards the rear of the dash (closest to the hood area) and into the v ehicle body .
• Fit the wide notch in the side of a headlight lens under the wide tab on a lens guard. • Press fir mly on the inside of the headlight lens to snap it into the lens guard. • Repeat this procedure to assemble the other headlight lens to the remaining lens guard.
Assembl y 12 • Fit the lens tabs on the back of a lens assemb ly into the headlight slots in the grille. • Press fir mly to snap the lens assembly into the g rille.
15 • Inser t each fastener end of the long seat belt str ap through a slot in the center of the seat. Make sure the f asteners f ace the outer edge of the seat. • Pull each side of the long seat belt strap e v enly through the slots. Mak e sure to pull each T -loop through a slot.
Assembl y 14 16 • With the seat at an angle, inser t the tabs on the front edge of the seat into the slots in the f oot-well w all . • Push down firmly on the edge of the seat abov e each tab to snap the tabs into the slots . • Rotate the back of the seat do wn to snap the seat back tabs into the slots in the v ehicle body .
• Place the spor t bar and spor t bar suppor t legs into the holes in the v ehicle body . • Push down firmly on a spor t bar side leg while pulling up on the side f ender to fit the spor t bar into the vehicle body . • Repeat this procedure on the other side of the vehicle body .
Assembl y 16 24 23 T aillight Housing T aillight Lens • Using saf ety scissors, remo ve the taillight lenses and the taillight housings from the plastic connectors. Dispose of the plastic connectors. • F ace the rear of the vehicle. • Fit a taillight lens inside a taillight housing.
