Battery Charging E 7 W ARNING • The batter y m ust be handled by adults only . The batter y is heavy and contains sulfuric acid (electrolyte). Dropping the batter y could result in serious injur y . • Nev er allow children to charge the batter y .
• Plug the charger into a standard 120 v olt wall outlet. Note: If power flo w to the wall outlet is controlled b y a s witch, make sure the s witch is “ON”. • Bef ore first time use, charge the batter y f or at least 18 hours. Ne ver charge the batter y longer than 30 hours.

Rectangular Opening Handlebar Button End Connector End Handlebar Wire Harness Handgrip Handgrip Handlebar • Insert two #10 x 3 / 4 " screws through the slots in the headlight and into the pegs in the handlebar . • Press firmly on the front of the headlight and tighten each screw with a Phillips scre wdr iver .
Steering Column Steering Linkage Hole Guides Steering Column V ehicle Body Square Opening Steering Column Square Bushing 13 • T ur n the handlebar assembly upside down. • Align the handlebar wire harness with the guides on the underside of the handlebar and the guide at the bottom of the headlight.
13 Assembly 19 • Insert the wire connector on the main wire har ness through the large opening in the center of the v ehicle body . • Plug the main wire harness connector and the handlebar wire har ness connector together . 20 • P osition the vehicle body upright.
22 23 • Align the holes in a f ootrest with the holes in one end of the f ootrest suppor t bar . • Insert a #10 x 1 1 / 4 " bolt through the f ootrest and f ootrest suppor t bar . • Fit a loc k nut onto the end of the bolt and hand- tighten it.
Label Decoration 15 Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best! • Please remo v e and discard the temporary labels adhered to the sides of the v ehicle. • W ash your hands bef ore applying the labels. • Mak e sure the areas where the labels will be applied are clean and dr y .
Battery Installation 16 Important Note: Use only a P ower Wheels ® 6 v olt (4 Amp/hr .) batter y with a P ow er Wheels ® 25 amp fuse installed. Use of any other battery or fuse will damage your v ehicle.
Battery Installation 17 • Deter mine whether the seat on your v ehicle is equipped with a lock f astener or requires use of the #10 x 1 / 2 " bolt, f ound in the Small P ar ts bag, to lock the seat. If y our vehicle seat is equipped with a loc k fastener , please properly dispose of the #10 x 1 / 2 " bolt.
7 • T o recharge or change the batter y , unlock the vehicle seat: - If y our vehicle seat is equipped with a loc k fastener , use a slotted screwdriv er to rotate the lock f astener 1 / 4 tur n to the unlock ed position ( ). - If y our vehicle seat requires use of the #10 x 1 / 2 " bolt, loosen the bolt using a Phillips screwdriv er .
If a battery leak develops, av oid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged batter y in a plastic bag. See inf or mation below f or proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or ey es, flush with cool water f or at least 15 minutes and call a physician.
