Battery Charging E 8 W ARNING • The batter ies must be handled b y adults only . The batteries are heavy and contain sulfuric acid (electrolyte). Dropping the batter ies could result in serious injur y . • Nev er allow children to charge the batteries.
® • Plug the charger into a standard 120 v olt wall outlet. Note: If power flo w to the wall outlet is controlled b y a s witch, make sure the s witch is “ ON ” . • Bef ore first-time use, charge the batteries for at least 18 hours. Ne ver charge the batteries longer than 30 hours .
Assembly F Do not omit an y steps. Please set aside at least 45 minutes f or assembl y . 4 10 2 1 • Fit the cov er plate ov er the opening in the front of the vehicle body . • Inser t two #8 x 1 / 2 " screws (b lunt silver) through the co ver plate and into the v ehicle body .
11 6 7 • Slide a he x bushing onto the rear axle. The ring side of the he x bushing should f ace out. • Press fir mly to fit all but the ring on the end of the he x bushing into the rear wheel. • Fit a cap nut on the end of the rear axle. • T ap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it on the end of the rear axle.
7 / 16 " (Large) W asher Round Bushing Small Round Hole F ront Wheel F ront Axle • Slide a wheel, small round hole first, onto the front axle. • Fit a hubcap on the front axle and slide it into the center of the front wheel. • Slide a he x bushing onto the front axle.
• Lift the front end of the vehicle . • Slide the straight end of the steering column through the hole in the lower steering linkage and out through the hole in the v ehicle body . • Inser t the cur ved end of the steering column into the hole in the upper steering linkage.
Handlebar 14 Steering Column Handlebar Housing - Bottom Half Cap Nut • Push fir mly on the handlebar to make sure that the bot- tom half of the handlebar housing and the handlebar are fully seated on the v ehicle body . • Fit a cap nut on the end of the steering column.
Brushguard T op T ab Side Ta b Spor t Bar • Wrap the tab at the top of the brushguard around the top of the spor t bar . • Inser t two #8 x 3 / 4 " screws (b lack) through the holes in the front of the brushguard and into the screw pegs on the top tab .
16 Assembly Rear View Rear View Rear View Rear Axle Cov er - Long Half Rear Axle Cov er - Shor t Half • P osition the shor t half of the rear axle cov er behind the rear axle and snap it onto the rear axle. • P osition the long half of the rear axle cover in front of the rear axle and snap it into place.
R 17 Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best! When applying labels, keep the f ollowing guidelines in mind: • W ash your hands bef ore applying the labels. • Bef ore applying the labels, wipe the surf ace of the vehicle with a clean, dry cloth to remove an y dust or oils.

® 19 Important Note: Use only P ower Wheels ® T ype H batter- ies with P ower Wheels ® 30 amp fuses installed. Use of any other batteries or fuses will damage your v ehicle. Make sure that you charge the batteries f or at least 18 hours using the enclosed P ower Wheels ® 12 V olt charger before operating y our vehicle f or the first time.
If a battery leak develops, av oid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged batter y in a plastic bag. See inf or mation below f or proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or ey es, flush with cool water f or at least 15 minutes and call a ph ysician.
10 ° Incline should never be more than 10° 5. Do not operate this v ehicle with more than one rider , seated on the seating area. A child who is not sitting on the seat or who is standing on the v ehicle could fall off , cause a tip-ov er or bloc k the driver ’ s view .
As assembled, y our vehicle is ready to roll in lo w speed (2 1 / 2 mph, maximum). • Push the bottom button on the LO W/HIGH switch to set the vehicle to driv e in low speed. • Push the top button on the FOR W ARD/REVERSE switch to set the v ehicle to dr ive f orward.
Caring For Y our V ehicle 23 L Adv anced Use - High Speed Drive • Check all n uts, bolts, and their protectiv e cov erings regu- larly and tighten as required. Check plastic par ts on a regular basis f or cracks or brok en pieces. • During snowy or rain y weather , the vehicle should be stored inside or under a protectiv e cover .
