Operation Choke Control (All Units Except Kohler EFI) Located on right console (black lev er) (see Figure 6). The c hoke is used to aid in star ting a cold engine . Moving the chok e lev er forward will put the chok e in the “ON” position and mo ving the c hoke lever to the rear , to the detent, will put the c hoke in the “OFF” position.

Operation Note: The handle must be horizontal and against the stop for operation. Do Not tow machine. PTO Engagement Switch Located on right console (see Figure 6). Switch must be pulled out (up) to engage the blades . Switch is pushed in to diseng age the blades .

Maintenance C. Apply lubricant to threads of blade bolt to prevent seizing . Copper-based anti-seize preferable. Grease acceptable substitute . Install blade bolt nger tight. Place wrench on the top spindle n ut then torque the blade bolts to 50-60 ft-lb (68-81 N-m).
