Security Settings The Security function protects your wireles s network from invasion. We provide WEP and WP A encryption to secure your wireles s network. As default, the authentication is configured as safe mode. Please select None/WEP/WP A (Personal) in the drop list.
WEP Configuration Items Information Authentication Open: Wireless AP can associate with this wireless router without WEP encryption. Shared Key: Wireless AP can associate with this wireless router only with WEP encryption. Default Key ID Select to use the WEP ke y value of 1,2,3 or 4 as in the following settings.
WPA Configuration Items Information WP A Mode Select the option in the drop list to enable modes of auto, WP A only , or WP A2 only . WP A Encryption Select TKIP / AES, TKIP or AES as WP A encryption. Pre-Shared Key Select the key format of Pass Phrase or Hex.
Access Control T o restrict the Number of Access authentication of S tations , set up the control list in this page. Y ou may select “Allow Listed” to allow those allowed MAC addresses or select “Deny Listed” to ban those MAC addr esses from accessing to this device.
MAC Access Control Settings Items Information Enable this Rule Mark to enable the configuration, and clear to disable. MAC Address Fill in the MAC address that you are going to control. Ping T est The Ping T est page allows the administrator to test the connecting status of Internet. Fill in th e IP then click on the Ping T est button to view the result information. Config The Config page allows users to backup and do wnload the configuration st atus of the device or restore the factory default configuration.
Firmware Upgrade Sometimes a new firmware may be issued to upgrade the system of this device. Y ou could upgrade the firmware you got in this page. T o upgrade the firmware, please click on the Browse button, locate the firmware in your computer and then click the Upload button to execute.
