Analog Outputs are analog signals the ROC827 generates to regul ate equipment, such as control valves or any device requ iring analog control.

ROC827 Instruction Manual Issued Mar-06 Input/Output Modules 4-15 The RTD input module works by supplyi ng a small consistent current to the RTD probe and measuring the vol tage drop across it. Based on the voltage curve of the RTD, the ROC 827 firmware converts the signal to temperature.

ROC827 Instruction Manual Issued Mar-06 Input/Output Modules 4-19 Noise Susceptibility Millivolt signals are very small and are very susceptib le to noise. Noise from stray electrical and ma gnetic fields can generate voltage signals higher than the millivolt lev els generated from a thermocouple.
