Altern ating between bypass and on-line modes is achieved autom atically and in accordance with the condi tions of the utility power.

18 USB port (option) Connecting the UPS to your computer is a ccomplished through the USB port on the back of your computer. USB compliant hardware and operating s ystem will be necessary including installation of a UPS driver. The se rial port cannot be used when using the USB port.
