C H A P T E R 3 O PERA TION About T ouchmonitor Adjustments Y ou r touchmonitor will not likely require adjustment. However, variations in video output and application may require adjust ments to th e touchmonitor to optimize the quality of the display .

Preset Modes T o reduce the need for adjustment for different modes, the m onitor has default setting modes that are most commonly used as given in the table below . If any of these display m odes are detected, the monitor automatically adjusts the picture size and centering.
Power Management System The monitor is equipped with the power management fun ction which automaticall y reduces the power cons umption when not in use. Power Mode Consumption On <30W Sleep <3W Off <1W It is recommend to switch the monitor off when it is not in use for a long time.
IntelliT ouch Plus T ouch T echnology When connect ed t o W indows 7 computers, the touchm onitor can report 2 simultaneous touc hes. The IntelliT ouch Plus touc hscreen can be re-calibrated to your displayed video i mage, if needed, through the Calibration function in the Elo driver control panel.
Projected-Capacitive T ouch T echnology When connected to W indows 7 computers, the touchm onitor can report 2 simultaneous t ouches. When connected to W indows XP computers, the touchmonitor reports single touches. No additional drivers are required for th is tech nolog y to work, it uses W indows HID drivers.

A P P E N D I X A N A TIVE R ESOLUTION The native resolution of a monitor is the resolution level at which the LCD panel is designed to perform best. For the LCD touc hmonitor , the native resolutio n is 1024 x 76 8 for the 15 i nch size. In almost all cases, screen im ages look be st when viewed at their native resolution.
As an exam ple, a SVGA resolution LCD pa nel has 800 pi xels horizontally by 600 pixels vertically . Input video is also rep resented by t he same te rms.
