Operating Instructions Important safety information In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the applian ce, read this user manual carefully, including its hints and warnings.
• Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil acetone, petrol, kerosene, spot remove rs, turpentine, wax es and wax removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.

DELICATE (Schon) function For especially gentle drying of sensitive fabr ics with the care label and for temperature-sensitive te xtiles (e.g. acrylic, viscose). Programme is exec uted with reduced heat. DELICATE Schon function is only suitable fo r use with loads of up to 3kg.
To deselect function press again BUZZER Signal button. Led above is off. DELAY START (Zeitvorwahl) function With the DELAY START Zeitvorwahl button, you can delay the start of a programme by 3, 6 or 9 hours. 1. Select the programme and additional functions if n ecessary.
Starting the programme Press the Start/Pause butto n. Led above sto ps flashing, becomes steady. Th e pro- gramme is started. Lig hting status LED sh ows you cycle ru n. Changing programme To change a programme which has bee n selected by mistake once the programme has started, first turn the programme selector to OFF Aus position.
Drying cycle complete / removing laundry Once the drying cycle is complete, END stat us led is lighting. If the BUZZER Sig- nal button ha s been pressed, an ac oustic signal sounds inter mittently for about one minute. The drying cycles are automatically followe d by an anti-crease phase which lasts around 30 minutes.
Care and cleaning Cleaning fluff filter The filters collect all the fluff whic h accum ulates du ring drying. To ensur e that the dryer works perfectly, the fluff filte rs (micro-fine filter and fine strainer ) must be cleaned after every drying cycle.

If the condensa te tank is full, an active programme w ill break off automa tically and the warning led light up. In order to cont inue the programme , the condensate tank must first be emptied. The condensate is no t suitable for d rinking or for preparing foodstuffs.
The condensate can be used as dist illed water, e.g. for steam ironing. However first filter the condensate (e.g . with a co ffee filter) to remove any residue and small pieces o f fluff. Cleaning heat exchanger If the warning led is lighting, the heat e xchanger needs to be cleaned.
5. Use the handle to pu ll the heat exchanger out of the base an d carry it ho rizontally to prevent any remainin g water from spilling. 6. To empty the heat exchanger , hold vertically over a washing-up bowl. Do not use sharp objects to clean. The heat exchanger could develop leaks.
Lime in the water or cleaning ag ents may form a barely visible lining on the inside of the drum. The degree to which the laundry has been dried is then no longer detected reliably. The laundry is damp er than expected when re- moved from the dryer. Use a standard domestic cleaner (e.
What to do if ... Troubleshooting by yourself If, during operation, the dryer shows an er ror (one or more leds flashing on the control panel), check first of all whether you can r emedy the problem yourself by means of the table below. If you can not solve the problem: Switch the machine o ff and on again.
