Installation • This appliance is h eavy. Care should be taken when moving it. • When unpacking the appliance, check that it is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use it and contact the Service Centre. • All packing and transit bolts must be re- moved before use.
Child safety • This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or in- struction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible fo r their safety.
Detergent dispenser drawer Compartment for detergent used for pre- wash and soak phase or for stain remover used during the stain action phase (if availa- ble). The prewash and soak detergent is added at the beginning of the wash pro- gramme. The stain remover is added during the stain action phase.
Temperature This button allows yo u to increase or de- crease the washing temperature. Spin Reduction By pressing this butt on you can change the spin speed of the selected programme.

Measure out the detergent and the fab- ric softener Pull out the dispenser dr awer until it stops. Measure out the amount of detergent re- quired, pour it into the main wash compart- ment or in the appropriate compartment if the selected programme/option it requires (see more details in «Detergent dispenser drawer»).
Select the temperature by pressing button 2 By selecting a programme, the appliance proposes automatically a default tem pera- ture. Press this button repeatedly to increase or decrease the temperatur e, if you want your laundry to be washed at a different temper- ature.
Important! The Time Manager cannot be selected with the Econ omy programmes. The availability of these soil level icons change according to th e type of fabric as shown in the following chart.
2. Select the draini ng or spinning pro- gramme. 3. Reduce the spin speed if needed, by pressing the relevant button. 4. Press button 8 . Warning! When the appliance is in use and depending on the programme select ed there can be hot water in the pump. Never remove the pump cover during a wash cycle, always wait until the appliance has finished the cycle, and is empty.

1. After removing all the packaging, carefully lay machine on it’s back to remove the polystyrene base from the bot tom. 2. Remove the power supply cable and the draining and inlet hose from the hose holders on the rear of the appliance. 3. Unscrew the three bolts.
6. Fill the smaller upper hole and the two large ones with the corresponding plastic plug caps supplied in the bag containing the instruction booklet. Positioning Install the machine on a flat hard floor. Ma ke sure that air circulation around the machine is not impeded by carpets, rugs etc.
Do not place the inlet hose downwards. Angle the hose to the left or right depend- ing on th e position of you r water tap. 3. Set the hose correct ly by loosening the ring nut. After positioning the inlet hose, be sure to tighten the ring nut again to prevent leaks.
