TEMPERATURE ALARM Temperat ure increas e in the freezer com- partment (for exampl e due to an earlier power failure) is indicated by: • Alarm light flashing. • sounding of buzzer. During the a larm phase, the buzzer can be switched off by pressing the Alarm reset button.
DAILY USE FREEZING FRESH FOOD The freezer compartm ent is suitable for freezing fresh fo od and storing frozen an d deep-frozen food for a long time. To freeze small amount o f fresh foods it is not necessary to change the present set- ting.

DEFROSTING THE REFRIGERATOR Frost is auto matically elim inated from t he evaporator of the refr igerator compartmen t every time the motor compressor stops, during normal use. Th e defrost water drains out through a drain hole into a special con- tainer at the back of the ap pliance, over the motor compressor, where it ev aporates.

REMOVING THE TRANSPORT SUPPORT 2 3 Your appliance is equipped with transport support to secure the door during trans- portation. To remove them do these steps: • Open the door. • Remove the tra nsport support from the door sides. • Remove the tra nsport support from the lower hinge (some models).
DOOR REVERSIBILITY To change the opening dir ection of the door, do these steps: • Remove the plug from the power socket. • Remove the ve ntilation grille. Remove the filling an d install it o n the opposite side of the grille. • Lay down the applia nce back side down on a wooden s upport.
• Raise the appliance and inst all the venti- lation grille . • Unscrew t he handle. On the opposite side remove the hole covers by driving a 3–4 mm drift or drill into them. Insta ll the handle. • Install the ho le covers prov ided within the accessory bag.
