The plastic components are id entified by markings, e.g. >PE<, >PS<, etc. Please dispose of the pa ckaging materials in the appr opriate container at your local wa ste disposal facili ties.
8 818 35 94-01/2 Befor e Use Pa c k a g i n g 0 1. Remove all adhesive tape and packaging from the interior of the appli- ance. 3 Any r emnants of adhesive can be removed with white spirit. 2. Remove the transport pr otection pieces and pull off the adhesive tape.
818 35 94-01/2 9 Installation Installation Location The appliance should be installed in a well ventilated, dry room. Energy use and efficient performance of the appliance is affected by the ambient temperatur e.
Installation 10 818 35 94-01/2 Remove the two wall spacers fr om the appliance accessories pack and, in accordance with the illustrations, fix them at the top of the rear of the appliance so that the distance fr om the wall requir ed for the necessary ventilation is ensured.
818 35 94-01/2 11 1. The wir e coloured gr ee n and yellow must be connected to the ter- minal marked with the letter “E“ or by the earth symbol or col- our ed gr een and yellow . 2. The wir e coloured blue must be connected to the terminal “N“ or coloured blac k.
Reversing the door 12 818 35 94-01/2 3. Remove the door fitting from the door hinge bracket (1, 2). Move the hinge bracket pivot from the right to the left hand hole (3). Place the door fitting supplied on the hinge bracket pivot (4, 5). 4. Unscrew Phillips scr ew from the door bottom right and re move door fitting (1).
Reversing the door 818 35 94-01/2 13 7. Place the lower door hinge bracket with the hinge br acket pivot in the lower left of the door and fasten. 8. Unscrew the top handle br acket from the handle r od (1). Unscrew the bottom handle bracket from the door (2).
14 818 35 94-01/2 The no-fr ost (fr ost fr ee) system • The appliance can be used as a freezing unit or as a refriger ator depen- ding on requir ement. For this pur pose, the operation mode "Fr eezing" or the operation mode "Cooling" can be selected on the appliance.

Description of the appliance 18 818 35 94-01/2 TURBO/FROSTMA TIC-button The TURBO/FROSTMA TIC function in the fr eezing mode provides for quick fr ee zing of fresh food pr oducts, and at the same time protects pr eviously stored goods against undesired warming in the fr eezer comp artment.
818 35 94-01/2 19 Prior to Initial Start–Up 1 Before connecting the appliance to the mains and putt ing it into oper- ation for the fir st time, leave the a ppliance to stand for 30 minutes if was transported upright. After tr ans port on its side, the appliance must be left to stand for 2 hour s before putting it into oper ation.

The two upper compartments ar e suited for freezing of large quantities of food.
818 35 94-01/2 25 Tips: • The follo wing are suited for the packaging of fr ozen goods: – freezer bags and polyethylene wr aps; – plastic containers for fr ozen goods; – extra–thick aluminium foil. • The following are suitable for sealing bags and wr ap: plastic clips, rubber bands o r tape.
