8 T emper ature setting buttons The temperatur e is adjusted using the “B“ and “D“ buttons. These buttons are connected to the temper ature display .
9 Attention! If you are using the appliance as a freezing unit: Please wait prior to putting the foodstuff to be frozen, until the fr eezer interior temperature has attained -18 °C.
10 Starting Up - Setting the T emper ature 1. Plug the mains plug into the mains socket. 2. If the display is OFF , press ON/OFF button. The alarm light flashes and the buzzer sounds. 3. Press the “I” button to stop the buzzer , the light still flashes since the temperatur is r eached.
11 Switching the Appliance off To switch off, hold down the ON/OFF button for appr ox. 3 seconds. This will result in a countdown fr om "3" to "1" taking place in the temperature display . On reaching "1" the fridge will switch off.
12 Fr eezing and storing fr ozen food Y ou can use your freezer for freezing fr esh food yourself. Important! • The temperatur e in the freezer compartment must be –18 °C or colder before fr eezing food. • Please observe the freezing capacity given on the r ating plate.
