6 PRECA UTIONS • Do not remo ve the tilt-swivel stand. The stand is required to maintain clearance for the ventilation slots on the bottom of the cabinet. Removing the stand will block these slots and may result in fire or electric shock. • Do not touch the plug with wet hands.

The acronym VESA stands for “ V ideo Electr onics Standards Association, ” and DPMS stands for “ Display Power Management Signaling. ” DPMS is a com- munication standard that PCs and graphics boards use to implement power savings at the monitor side.
