GENERAL OPERA TION 16 Backl ight Operation The displ ay and keypad ba cklight can be control led by the BACKLG T menu parameter (se e page 33). The three sta tes that can be selec ted a re B right , Di m, an d Off. If th is men u para mete r is n ot s elect- able, th e backlig ht is fi xed in one o f these st ates by p rogramming.
